"Do no harm. Do good. Stay in love with God." as we navigate this unique time together. We believe the church is its people and not a building.  

SoPines UMC offers two in-person worship experiences each Sunday. The first service is a Contemporary Service at 9 AM, and the second is a Traditional Service at 11 AM. A nursery is available from 8:45 AM to 12 noon for newborns to 2-year-olds. Holy Communion is served at both services on the first Sunday of each month.

The Contemporary Service features the SoPines UMC Praise Band combining contemporary and traditional styles of worship. Liturgy, song lyrics, and primary Scripture passages are integrated into an audio-visual display during the service.

The Traditional Service at 11 AM takes place in the sanctuary and is led by the SoPines UMC Chancel Choir. This service is more liturgical in nature, with hymns playing a prominent role.

SoPines UMC values the worship experience for children. A children's sermon is included in the 9 AM Contemporary Service, and children ages 3 to 7 are invited to participate in Kids Own Worship (KOW), which begins after the children's message.
