Coalition for Human Care

SPUMC works with the Coalition, a non-profit corporation whose mission is to meet emergency needs. The first week of each month a list of needed grocery items is published, and the church sets up a box for the collection of these items.

The following items are needed:

MAY

Pasta, tomato sauce, cereal, tuna, rice, canned stew, macaroni & cheese, instant mashed potatoes, powdered milk, canned juice, canned fruit, peanut butter & jelly, canned vegatables, canned beans, chicken or vegtable soup, hand soap.

As we come together for communion with our Lord let us bring food to share with the needy.If you forgot your groceries, envelopes are available in the pew for cash donations.

Many of our members also -volunteer to work at the Coalition which is located at 1117 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Southern Pines.
